HOT positions
We have a number of roles we are filling.

1- The company, based in Connecticut, is a genomics-based biopharmaceutical company that is implementing a unique, highly integrated chemical genetics platform for drug discovery and development. Just received 22 million in series B

They need:

Two medicinal chemists:

One entry level- 70k- post doc research scientist- synthetic organic

One senior scientist- 90k; a medical chemist with at least 1 drug discovery program in industry. Working with enzymes. Specifically kinase inhibitors

2- The company is a leading developer of functional genomics and proteomics platform technologies to aid in the discovery and analysis of genes, their protein products and related biological function. The Company's services help reduce the risk, cost and time to market for new pharmaceutical, biotechnology and agricultural products. The company has built several discovery platforms based on technologies licensed both exclusively and non-exclusively to the company from Yale University and invented in the laboratories of Dr. Paul Lizardi. The company is headquartered in Connecticut. Just received 30 million in series A

We can hire 3 people:

a bioinformaticist- scientist- Director Level

senior scientist- someone that has both biology and information systems experience. Perfect person would have a PHD in biology with a degree in information systems.

Director of Molecular Biology- someone with great leadership experience - any work in developing information systems in house would be helpful

3- this company is in Rockville MD. The company is focused in integrating advanced technologies to discover and develop new therapeutics. It intends to leverage its capabilities in proteomics, bioinformatics and genomics to identify and validate drug targets and diagnostic marker candidates, and to discover novel therapeutic candidates.

Here we need a mass spec person with industry experience and some ability to manage other people.
