    BACKGROUND

    An innovative Biotech internationally renowned for its pioneering research in personalised immune-based cancer therapies has a new opening for a Senior Bioinformatician in their established London office. This opportunity is suitable for a highly talented and creative Senior Bioinformatician with a background in Immunology or Immuno-Oncology.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Development of bioinformatics pipelines for the identification of clonal variants and predication of neo-antigens
    • Develop novel approaches to the analysis and interpretation of exome sequencing data
    • The design and implementation of statistical techniques for the analysis of large data-sets
    • Collaborating closely with biologists and clinicians

    REQUIREMENTS

    Required Skills:
    • PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology or a related discipline
    • Strong understanding of Immunology or Immuno-Oncology, ideally with practical experience of in silico neo-antigen detection methods
    • Practical experience of analysing DNA-seq and RNA-seq data
    • Fluent in R/Bioconductor and Python or Perl
    • Familiarity with software development, version control or collaboration tools
