    Opportunity: Two positions (Research Associate / Postdoc) in Bioinformatics & Big Data Analytics @ McGill University -- Montreal, QC, Canada

    BACKGROUND

    Two positions (Postdoctoral Fellow / Research Associate) are available in the areas of bioinformatics and big data analytics

    REQUIREMENTS

    The candidates are expected to have a MSc or PhD degree with training and experience in at least one of the following areas:
    • Proficiency in R for statistics and data visualization
    • Next-generation sequencing analysis (RNAseq, microbiome)
    • High-resolution MS-based metabolomics data analysis
    • Web/Cloud technologies (Galaxy, J2EE/JSF, Node.js, HTML5, JQuery)
    • Development of databases (MySQL, MangoDB)

    LOCALE

    Montreal, Quebec, Canada

    COMPENSATION

    A competitive salary will be offered based on experience and qualification.
