    BACKGROUND

    An innovative Biotech internationally renowned for its pioneering research in personalised immune-based cancer therapies has released an exciting opportunity for a Bioinformatician to join their thriving computational R&D team. This is a perfect position for dynamic Bioinformatics Post-Docs/PhD graduates, who have a huge passion for scientific innovation and an interest in personalised cancer medicine.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Working in close collaboration with a leading team of Biologists and Clinicians, designing, implementing and applying statistical techniques to analyse and integrate large NGS datasets.

    REQUIREMENTS

    The ideal candidate will have:
    • A good PhD (or a Msc degree + 2 years' industry exp.) in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Data Science, Statistical Genetics or a related discipline
    • Experience working with NGS data
    • Strong statistical skills/understanding of machine learning concepts
    • Demonstrable programming ability using R and Python
    • Understanding of Immunology/Cancer-Immunology/Oncology is desirable
    • Passionate, innovative, creative, resilient and dynamic character
