BACKGROUND

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working on international consulting/IT projects with leading pharmaceutical and chemical companies, if required, be responsible for project management to manage project timelines and delivery
• Execution and documentation of user requirements definition and implementation workshops
• Supporting design, implementation and deployment of developed interfaces and tools
• Development of data modelling and data management concepts for implementation of user interfaces
• Working reliably on projects within a given time and budget frame whilst maintaining quality standards

REQUIREMENTS

• Completed studies in bioinformatics, chemistry, informatics or comparable, doctorate desirable
• Previous work experience in area of either Life Sciences, Pharma and/or biotech desirable
• Experience in data analytics and visualization tools (e.g. R Shiny, Spotfire, Tableau) and database technologies and SQL skills (e.g. PostgreSQL, NoSQL, etc.)
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Perl, Javascript)
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, ability to work in a team with high customer orientation
• Demonstrated problem solving capabilities and ability to prioritize time/projects
• Very good verbal and written English and German communication skills
