    The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at The Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine invites applications from outstanding scientists for a full-time tenure-track position. We seek candidates at the Assistant Professor level who have an active highly competitive independent research program or who show a strong potential to develop such a program, particularly in the area of bioinformatics and genomics. Qualifications include a PhD or equivalent degree in the area of bioinformatics, especially with respect to high-throughput data extraction, analysis and modeling, and computational biology, with expertise in development of tools and algorithms for interrogating and exploiting large datasets.
