Senior Statistical Programmer-Perm opportunity in Boston
Job responsibilities:
To specify, develop, validate and maintain general-purpose and ad hoc SAS programs for the validation, manipulation, analysis, and reporting of clinical and registry data. To provide a specialized area of expertise in statistical programming, e.g. software and systems analysis and development; e-submission techniques and processes; non-SAS based presentation and reporting techniques; data warehousing. To provide leadership to SAS programmers, statisticians, and other personnel in this area of expertise.
Education and requirements:
BS in computer science with course work in data structures and mathematical/statistical programming. Minimum of 5 years experience in reporting and analyzing clinical and/or registry data in SAS in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO setting. Demonstrated proficiency in area of expertise and the ability to provide leadership in this area. Proficiency in SAS graph, SAS Macro language and other statistical analysis software and reporting tools. Experience in VAX/VMS/Clintrial and Oracle SQL, NT environment, Electronic Data Capture systems, SAS ODS procedures preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and standard coding dictionaries preferred.
