Opportunity: Post-doctoral Fellow for translational bioinformatics for precision medicine @ University of Hong Kong -- Hong Kong

BACKGROUND
We are a research group based at the University of Hong Kong. Our group has a long-standing expertise in multi-omics studies using sequencing technology for cancer translational study. We offer an open, supportive, dynamic and motivating academic environment with the possibility to work on cutting edge cancer research project.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will work in a multidisciplinary team including biologist, clinician and statistician to develop the computation platform for multi-omic data analysis to identify the biomarkers relevant to immunotherapy response.
REQUIREMENTS
We seek an enthusiastic and highly motivated applicant holding, or about to obtain, a PhD degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Medical Informatics or similar. The candidates should have strong expertise in R, Python/Perl, Shell and Unix operating systems. Experience in development of web tools is helpful. Preference will be given to the applicant with previous experience in one or more of the following areas: software/R package development, establishment of information system and multi-omics data analysis.
