    Paradigm Therapeutics was started as a spin-out company from the University of Cambridge and has since established a platform based on transgenic technology for defining the biological functions of previously uncharacterised human drugable proteins. Paradigm is about to undergo a period of rapid expansion and offers a dynamic and fast paced working environment, where creative thinking is encouraged and results rewarded.

    A post is available immediately for a bioinformatician with programming and development experience in the area of biological databases and database integration.

    The post holder will be responsible for developing and maintaining in-house databases for the integration of internally generated genomic and biological data with external datasources.

    Experience of unix based Perl, Bioperl and SQL based relational database design are essential and familiarity with Ensembl, HTML/CGI, CORBA and DAS will be an advantage.
