    A leading global medical device company, addressing a wide variety of health-related products, has an immediate opening for a Clinical Data Manager for their Santa Barbara, CA headquarters.

    This position will oversee all aspects of Clinical Data and entries, including development of procedures and maintenance of databases; act as liaison to CPD and company for data development, reporting and analysis capabilities; proactively identify and resolve problems, and recommend improvements as well as manage the Clinical Data Entry staff.

    Ideal candidates will have a bachelor?s degree (required), preferably in an information technology or industry related discipline (advanced training or degree desirable), significant experience as project team member and as a project team leader, as well as?

    5-years experience in clinical data processing/management.
    In-depth knowledge of the clinical development process.
    Experience with SAS.
    Experience with database modeling and user requirement definitions.
    Comprehensive knowledge of the structure of clinical trials databases.
    Programming of edit checks and tracking routines.
    Management of data entry, verification and cleanup process.
