Opportunity: Postdoctoral research scientist in the Korem Lab @ Columbia University Medical Center -- New York, NY (US)
Submitted by Paula Ralph-Birkett; posted on Saturday, December 04, 2021

    BACKGROUND

The Korem Lab (https://koremlab.science) aims to obtain a mechanistic and actionable understanding of the microbiome's role in human health and disease, using rigorous bioinformatics, statistical analysis and machine learning. As part of the Program for Mathematical Genomics and the Departments of Systems Biology and Ob/Gyn, we operate in an engaging and multi-disciplinary environment consisting of computational biologists, applied mathematicians, statisticians, physicists, and physicians. The lab operates at the intersection between computational biology and medicine, developing analytic approaches and algorithms and computational methods that aim to integrate multi-omic and clinical data to study health and disease.
