    I am a C/C++/Java/Oracle applications programmer with a B.S. in Biology and am looking for a Computational Biology/Bioinformatics position. I have 5+ years experience (4 in C++) in a Unix environment, coding complex algorithms for an automotive application and would like to get back into Biology.

    I am looking for people currently working in Bioinformatics to share information on how they like working in the field and to give job hunting advice.

    I'm a U.S. citizen and would prefer to work for the government programming for researchers.
