    A client in Pasadena, CA is seeking a Clinical Data Manager. Here is more information:

    This pharmaceutical research company is a fast growing niche CRO specialized in providing growing pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies with cost-effective solutions to launching pharmaceutical development programs in the United States. They provide competitive pay and full range of benefits including medical, dental, 401k, paid vacations, and profit sharing program.

    The successful candidate will be in charge of all activities related to data management for the new and ongoing electronic clinical trials and ensure that the data collection process is in adherence to company SOPs, GCPs and applicable regulations. Specific responsibilities include: coordinate with vendors and study managers to ensure deliverables meet the requirements of time and quality; review patient records and identify problems emerging from the data collection process; determine appropriate course of action to resolve data errors; track validation discrepancies and issue manual queries for data errors that were missed by the automated edit-check process; prepare and assist in database lock at the end of the trial.

    Requirements: knowledge of clinical trials database with some general understanding of database structure and industry standard; experience with clinical database management systems (such as ClinTrial or Oracle Clinical) in a pharmaceutical research environment is a plus. Coding experience with the following medical dictionaries, MedDRA and WHOART, is desirable. B.S./B.A. degree in life science or health-related fields. Detail- oriented and computer literate.
