We are in process of developing a new format called MAP (Modifications and Annotations in Proteins) to represent chemically modified proteins. Our first version is announced at https://doi.org/10.48550/arXiv.2505.03403 and https://webs.iiitd.edu.in/raghava/maprepo/ . This is first draft, we need input from scientific community to improve this format. We will highly appreciate if you please provide your feedback on MAP format.
