Within the US National Institutes of Health, our clients produce some of the largest and most rapidly growing repositories of public biomedical data and analysis tools in the world for genomics and proteomics.
Principal Investigator:
Ideal candidate will have administrative experience managing the development and maintenance of large complex genomic and/or proteomic databases projects. Preferred PhD in Microbiology, or other related scientific field. Expertise in infectious diseases and biodefense. Extensive bioinformatics experience preferred. Experience developing genomic/proteomic analysis tools. Experience interfacing, collaborating, and building consensus with members of the scientific community.
Must have demonstrated experience directing the development of large complex biological databases and familiarity with infectious diseases.
Preferred background includes former experience as a bench-Scientist in Micobiology, with an emphasis in bioinformatics and heavy focus of R&D on bioinformatics databases and analysis tools.
