A research-based pharmaceutical company dedicated to the discovery, development, and commercialization of innovative pharmaceutical products for the treatment of respiratory, urology, and central nervous system disorders is seeking a senior level biostatistician to support its drug development efforts.
The primary responsibilities will include project team leadership of outside and internal teams, production of clinical trial deliverables, detailed analysis plans, statistical/clinical reports for regulatory submission, and independent management of drug development programs within the biostatistics function. The successful candidate will communicate statistical information through team meetings, FDA teleconferences, etc. and in written analysis plans and statistical reports.
He/she will also provide statistical representation and leadership on project and protocol teams and manage internal and external statisticians and SAS programmers who support the project teams.
Requirements:
Masters or doctorate level degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field required
6-10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, or equivalent, depending on educational level. Experience with regulatory submissions, project and proposal management experience, and targeted therapeutic experience are relevant qualifications for this position. SAS experience is necessary.
