BIOINFORMATICS TEACHING POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW
College of the Holy Cross seeks a Ph.D. to fill a two-year position for a Teaching Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Biology (http://www.holycross.edu/departments/biology/website/index.html). The successful candidate will teach three courses each year under the mentorship of Prof. Mary Lee Ledbetter. One course will be in the area of Bioinformatics, aimed at students of both Biology and Computer Science; at least one other will be directed toward non-science majors. The rest of the appointment involves research with Prof. Ledbetter and undergraduate students on an NSF-supported project on microarray studies of cell communication. The position begins in the summer of 2004; at its conclusion the Fellow will be well qualified to assume an independent faculty position as a Teacher/Scholar in a liberal arts environment.
