RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee administrative and scientific activities of the Biostatistics department, including supervision of statistical, programming and QC staff.
• Assist in the marketing and bidding efforts of the company, focusing on business acquisition and motivating scientific expertise.
• Also involved in other company activities where statistical services are required, such as global and full development programs, Phase IV and Health Outcomes.
• Interactive Voice Response System knowledge and experience preferred.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Masters degree with 10 years experience or Ph.D. plus 8 years experience with a minimum of 5 years clinical research experience preferred.
• Ph.D. or MS/MA in statistics or biostatistics, or related field.

• Proven performance of required tasks, as evidenced in outstanding performance in current tasks and/or documented record of accomplishments.
• Evidence of strong management skills, as shown through management of multiple projects and staff members.
• Demonstrated initiative and motivation.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to adapt and adjust to changing priorities.
