BACKGROUND

Education Services Librarian, Tompkins-McCaw Library for the Health Sciences: Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia seeks a librarian.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and provide instructional and research support to the VCU Medical Center; promote information resources with a focus on basic/life sciences; train campus-based and distance learners; and develop educational content including Web-base tutorials. Reports to Head, Education Services.

REQUIREMENTS

ALA accredited graduate degree or accredited graduate degree in biological or life sciences required. Minimum two years experience in an academic health library, science library, or scientific field.

COMPENSATION

Salary $40,000 minimum.
