BACKGROUND

• Design Data Collection Modules (DCM), Data Collection Instruments (DCI), data entry screens, develop validation and derivation procedures, and set up the lab subsystem.
• Build business practices to facilitate the processing, cleaning, quality assurance, and review of clinical study data.
• Provide application support for Oracle Clinical Remote Data Capture (RDC) and Discoverer to the clinical research community.
• Provide analysis of systems and coordinate implementation of modifications.
• Conduct preactivation study reviews and maintain production studies.
• Coordinate support of development and systems issues with DBAs and systems staff.

• B.S. or B.A. Degree in Computer Science or Life Sciences.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, which includes user support and/or training experience.
• Demonstrated experience working with Oracle Clinical in a data management environment is required, along with PL/SQL.
• Familiarity with Oracle Forms, Remote Data Capture (RDC) and Oracle Discoverer preferred.
• Knowledge of medical research practices and familiarity with the full clinical trial process.
