    Do you have a love for Decoding the Human Genome? Very interested in defining and manipulating large sets of data?

    We are looking for a Strong Bioinformatics Leader.

    POSITION

    Bioinformatics Software Engineer

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Aid in the analysis and preparation of Sequence and Primers
    • Confine our data in new contexts, make resulting information easily accessible, and quickly respond to questions about SNPs and assays in relation to the human genome.

    REQUIREMENTS

    You should have a BS in CS/EE or equivalent with a strong genetics/molecular biology background and/or a BS in Biology with a very strong computational background.
    • Excellent Perl, SQL, analytical and communication skills, the ability to work in both Windows and Linux environments, proven ability to find and refine relationships between and within data-sets, and proficiency manipulating and dissecting large data collections are essential.
    • Strong PL/SQL, Access and VB skills as well as competency with statistics would be a plus.
