BACKGROUND

Progressive pharma services company is currently expanding into Europe and is experiencing rapid growth. They are looking for Sr Biostat to join them! This is a high priority need so a swift response is likely to glean the best outcome if you are interested! Following is a brief description:

REQUIREMENTS

Masters degree in statistics, 10 yrs industry experience, or Ph.D. in statistics/related field, 5 yrs industry experience. Experience with FDA preferred. Position reports to the Director of Biostats

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sample size and other statistical methodology, work jointly with project manager and medical monitor. Works with programmers and clinicians to resolve problems in implementation of analysis plan. Develops general statistical procedures and algorithms as well as protocols including specification of analyses and sample size calculation. Write analysis plans. Review tables and study reports. Interact with sponsors, including presentations for bids. Mentor less senior statisticians.

To be considered over time, Ph.D. or M.S. in statistics with extensive industry experience and demonstrated knowledge of advanced statistical methodology, high quality of previous work, demonstrated or clearly perceived ability to manage the statistical group, and to work well with sponsors.
