    JOB DESCRIPTION

    In this role you will assist in building a state-of-the-art oncology bioinformatics platform. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of processing and evaluating large oncology related data sets including internal and public domain expression data. Experience in the micro-array arena required. Working knowledge of cancer biology, including an understanding of molecular mechanisms of cellular transformation. Experience in creating and using data-mining tools, algorithm development and statistical analysis. Required programming skills include Perl, Java, SQL and experience with Oracle and MySQL RDBMS in a UNIX/Linux environment. A PhD in Biology, Bioinformatics or equivalent, as well as two plus year?s postdoctoral experience in Bioinformatics.
