Nodalpoint.org is a Slashdot-like news forum for discoveries in the biological sciences. It has been developed and maintained by Greg Tyrelle and Daniel Gupta of the University of New South Wales, Australia.

``The focus of this site at the moment is intentionally broad coverage of bio-science. We see so many exciting discoveries that are reported daily in the fields of genomics, bioinformatics, cell biology, cancer research etc. but not at a central site that allows for discussion. We feel that discussion is the critical point here because although the discoveries in themselves are interesting it is the various ethical and technical issues they raise that we want to get at.''
