    Short Term Full Time Position (to begin immediately through June 30, 2004)

    DESCRIPTION

    Join a team working under a tight deadline to curate potential genomic drug targets with high-quality annotations for major pharma client. This project will end at the end of June 2004.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Analysis of protein classes of therapeutic value
    • Curating drug-able targets
    • Working closely with disease biologists

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Significant experience in computational analysis and bioinformatics tools
    • Comprehensive understanding of molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology and /or metabolic pathways
    • Knowledge of major human disease
    • Scripting and light programming experience would be considered a plus
