Integration of Mouse Phenotype Baseline DataDESCRIPTION
We are looking for an individual to develop the integration of phenotype data being produced at various sites across Europe with methodological descriptions being held in a central database. The person appointed will be based at the MGU and will have expertise in database interoperability/integration, preferably some interest in or knowledge of biology, and the ability to communicate with scientists with a variety of backgrounds, He/she is likely to be involved in a significant amount of travel within Europe. The Bioinformatics Group at Harwell (http://informatics.har.mrc.ac.uk), headed by Dr John Hancock, has experience in a wide range of techniques in database design, software development, evolutionary biology and sequence analysis and is actively engaged in research in Bioinformatics.HOW TO APPLY
