    DETAILS

The INSERM TAGC Laboratory, in Marseille, France (http://tagc.univ-mrs.fr) is seeking a postdoctoral candidate to conduct computational searches of non-coding RNA genes in genomic sequences. The successful candidate holds a PhD degree in biological sciences, has acquired a significant knowledge of RNA structure and function (or has a strong motivation to do so) and can demonstrate a strong research experience supported by international publications. Bioinformatics expertise is a plus, but not an absolute requirement, although all research work will be carried out ?in silico?.

Our laboratory and the selected candidate will jointly apply for a foreign postdoctoral fellowship of the French Ministry of Research (12month+6month extension, monthly salary=1830E+benefits), results of which will be communicated on June 21, 2004. The candidate should not have the French citizenship and should not currently live in France.

    HOW TO APPLY
