    DESCRIPTION:
    The Vermont Genetics Network invites applications for a grant funded bioinformatics specialist position that willl support Vermont scientists in education and research.

    Typical Functions: Activities include designing and leading bioinformatics lectures and workshops serving Vermont colleges as well as analysis of microarray and biological sequence data.

    Minimum Qualifications: At least two years of experience with bioinformatics applications. A PhD and training experience are preferred. Experience with microarray data analysis, sequence analysis, or protein 3D visualization/graphics.
