    DESCRIPTION

    MSD has continuing openings and is always seeking qualified scientific software programmers. Successful applicants will provide scientific computing support for national and international research and development projects in Bioinformatics, Genomics, and Proteomics at the US National Institutes of Health. Our clients produce some of the largest and most rapidly growing repositories of public biomedical data and analysis tools in the world.

    REQUIREMENTS

    Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in C++ Development and 1 year of Perl. Candidates with PhD's or Master's in Genetics, Bioinformatics, Molecular/Micro Biology fields are highly desired. Position requires strong Analysis, organizational, written and verbal communications skills. Candidates must also have a strong background in Algorithm development, statistics and data extraction areas. Other desired skills include SQL and RDBMS Programming. Must meet all requirements to qualify. Other experience includes Gene Clustering areas.
