INFORMATICS SYSTEMS ARCHITECT, Broad Institute, to collaborate with members of the Broad informatics and lab teams to ensure compatibility between applications and infrastructure designs. Will direct the deployment of new applications to appropriate infrastructures, monitoring and optimizing the performance of the resulting systems; participate in the design and implementation of new computing and storage systems; and direct deployment of new hardware, application, and software releases.

REQUIREMENTS:
A bachelor's degree in life science, engineering, or equivalent level of job training and experience. Must have a minimum of five years' experience in software development or systems design and in the design, configuration, and administration of large-scale scientific computing systems and large data storage systems. Demonstrated knowledge of bioinformatics applications and computing systems architecture and UNIX systems administration and programming environments required. Solid understanding of scientific applications, supporting information technologies, and the integration of applications and computing infrastructure needed. MIT-00001206
