Malay Basu, the author of SeWeR, has made the source code of the Web-based application available and has opened up the project for contributions. ``In an attempt to get community participation in all of my projects, I am in the process of releasing all my source codes and software,'' says Malay.

SeWeR is a well-known application for sequence analysis. It is mirrored around the world but hosted here at Bioinformatics.Org:

    New project development page:

Malay continues, ``Anyone can now contribute to the development of the project. I invite all of you to participate in the augmentation and support of SeWeR. I donate SeWeR to you.''
