Bio-Linux 4 is currently in development with a December release date. It is based on Debian 3.1 and KDE3.3/Gnome2.8 with a 2.6.8.1 kernel. All the bioinformatics software has been installed as Debian packages and we will release an apt repository after the system has been released for the packages on the system.
