RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyze gene expression data from microarrays as well as Taqman platforms. Design experiments for internal as well as external projects. Manage and coach group of junior analysts. Train field application scientists. Write up results into presentation format and peer reviewed publications. Present findings internally as well as to customers. Manage external collaborations.

REQUIREMENTS, REQUIREMENTS

PhD in Biostatistics preferred, PhD or MSc in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology with additional expertise in Biostatistics acceptable. Knowledge of Matlab or SAS or S+ required. Previous knowledge of microarray data analysis and commercially available analysis tools (GeneSpring, Spotfire etc...) highly desirable. Ability to work well in a team environment as well as excellent communication skills required.
