RESPONSIBILITIES

We currently have an excellent opportunity for an exceptionally meticulous QC software engineer to scrutinize our high-throughput genotyping and DNA sequencing pipeline. We'll rely on you to thoroughly understand our world-class data analysis algorithms, write test plans and automated test scripts to ensure their integrity, and perform automation and regression testing.

REQUIREMENTS

To qualify, you should have a BS/MS in an engineering field (preferably CS) and 2-4 years of related software QC experience, including test plans, test automation, regression, black-box and white box testing. Strong SQL skills including Oracle PL/SQL and/or Microsoft T-SQL are essential, as are excellent communication skills. A detail-oriented self-starter with 2+ years of programming experience in at least 1 scripting language (Perl or Visual Basic) is required. Highly desired skills/experience include MS .NET, C#, and/or Access, data acquisition from instrumentation, life science experience, knowledge of basic statistics, and familiarity with standard statistical analysis packages.
