BACKGROUND
Genemines (http://www.genemines.com) is a company of highly creative products and service offerings in Bioinformatics. We provide services in comparative genomics, pathway modeling and analysis, phylogenetics, microarray analysis, NLP and text mining and protein modeling.
DESCRIPTION
To head our project teams in Chennai, India we need a creative and enthusiastic individual with deep exposure in the following areas:
1. Team building, mentoring and development
2. Bioinformatics computing : Software tools and methods in areas mentioned above
3. At least 5 years of software analyst/QA/team lead experience in an established, certified I.T. environment
4. General management - hardware, communication, payroll and human resources.
REQUIREMENTS
The most eligible candidate will possess a minimum of bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent and one or more of the following credentials in Bioinformatics: (1) A post-graduate diploma from a reputed institute (2) at least 2 years of experience supporting bioinformatics software and operations.
