Postdoc in Theoretical Population Genetics/Molecular Evolution DESCRIPTION
We seek a postdoctoral researcher for up to two years to work on statistical methods in population genetics and molecular evolution at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. The applicant should have a Ph.d. in the biological or mathematical sciences and an interest in statistical methods in molecular ecology, population genetics, molecular evolution and/or phylogenetics. The postdoc will be supervised by Rasmus Nielsen at the Centre for Bioinformatics. There is a wide variety of possible research projects available and research topics will be determined in discussions between the supervisor and the successful applicant. The Centre for Bioinformatics is located near the centre of Copenhagen at the Institute of Biological Sciences.
Starting salary is approx. $3,800/month + 15% in retirement for a new Ph.d. graduate and larger for applicants with more experience.HOW TO APPLY
