Position Title: Health Informatics Consultant

The Health Informatics Consultant supports the Sales strategy of partnering with accounts through an information-sharing consultative process to enhance account relationships and increase retention. In the near term, this position will play a vital role integrating the data necessary to provide the most timely, compelling information to accounts. The Consultant will also be integral in defining the future strategy of Health Informatics for Accounts based on changing marketplace demands.
The Consultant will lead the team in crafting cohesive and effective consultative account presentations through facilitation of themes, analysis and recommendations. The Consultant will integrate and craft the information into convincing stories that address account needs and motivations. This leader will manage report creation and prioritization, drive the consultative process, and conduct quality review of data. He/She will also collaborate with the Director regarding report production, resource utilization, data integration, post-presentation development and feedback and account preferences.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Validate data warehouse availability and data accuracy in the warehouse required for reports.
- Work with reporting groups or directly generate reports and analyses using reporting tools.
- Conducts initial analysis on data / report exhibits, anticipates questions and document findings.
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop recommendations and interventions.
- Develop relationships with Account Executives and Account Sponsors. Manages account needs with respect to the consultative process. Confirm deliverables, content and timing with Account Executives.
- Briefs the presentation team and oversees the consultative presentation process.
- Finalize reports, exhibits & analyses; complete presentation preparation.
- Support Director in defining emerging Informatics strategy, processes, policies and organization.
- Participate in issue resolution, risk assessment/mitigation, planning and general administration of Health Informatics for accounts.
- Demonstrated project management skills. Experience coordinating complex projects with a proven track record for achieving results.
- Strong quantitative analysis skills; Ability to understand and analyze data and underlying methodologies; able to interpret, document and present information to multiple audiences.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and planning experience. Problem solving orientation.
- High degree of initiative coupled with team player approach.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills for both large and small audience settings. Ability to lead planning and implementation workgroups and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Effective writing skills.
- Ability to interact with accounts and anticipate account needs. Customer service-focused.
- High degree of professionalism. Ability to cultivate and maintain positive relationships across the organization and across levels.
- Highly organized with ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, Access)
- Interest and/or knowledge of the Health Care industry including products, financial arrangements, and service delivery models.
- BA/BS required. Master?s degree in Business Administration or Health Care desirable but not required.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience.
