    DESCRIPTION

    The Sr. Project Manager is a key leadership role, and an opportunity to have significant impact on the organization. This is a full-time position.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for project delivery and client relationships on a day-to-day basis. This includes project planning, business process analysis, technical architecture, team management, team professional growth, solutions or application quality, and project delivery. Estimated responsibility of project team size is between 7 - 20 people.

    REQUREMENTS / REQUIREMENTS

    • Experienced in the delivery of technology projects in the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Industries
    • BS/BA Degree. Advanced degree a plus
    • 3-7 years experience developing full-life-cycle project plans and delivering full-life-cycle technology projects (concept, design, development, testing, implementation and support)
    • Business and Technology Consulting experience
    • Strong technical background (previous developer experience a plus) e.g. Understand web technologies, architectures and software products
    • Must be familiar with computer systems validation processes (performing or managing)
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels of an organization
    • Proven leadership experience and experience developing and mentoring individuals
    • Proven ability to handle (and thrive on) accountability

    PREFERENCES

    • LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems)
    • Understanding of Chromatography systems (HPLC)
    • Document Management/Content Management
    • Analytical data reporting, data-mining and data-warehouse applications
    . Exception management
    . Decision support and trending analysis
    • Testing methodologies and automated testing tools (e.g. Mercury Interactive tool suite)
