This conference will offer an opportunity to gather researchers, educators and developers from academic fields and industries worldwide to share their research results and exchange ideas covering all the areas of biomedical engineering.

PAPER SUBMISSION

The response to this conference is enthusiastic, and there are many requests for extension of the paper submission deadline. Therefore, the deadline is extended to May 2, 2005. Please be noted, the deadline for "IEEE EMBS Student Paper & Design Competition" is also extended to May 2, 2005.

A special forum: Special Forum on EMBS Publications has been announced:

This special forum will provide an overview of EMBS publications, introduce strategic initiatives in EMBS publications, and the EMBS transactions and magazine. Editors of EMBS publications will give a brief introduction of their journals. Panel discussion will then be organized to discuss important issues in publications in the field of biomedical engineering, and how EMBS publications can better serve our members and the BME field at large.
