DESCRIPTION

Consultant Bioinformatician required to join a team (based in the UK) creating a resource to manage protein annotation and analysis. The system will be collating data from many sources and delivering an interface and knowledge to scientists on a global basis within the company.

You will assist in developing, testing, implementing, documenting and maintaining the system.

REQUIREMENTS

You will need excellent JAVA or Perl knowledge as well as a good understanding of molecular biology and web based application development.

This is initially a 1 year contract based in the South East paying in the region of £35- 40 per hour based on a 40 hour week. The person should be able to start sometime in June 2005 ideally.
