BACKGROUND

A postdoctoral research fellow position in computational biology/bioinformatics is available in Dr. Yan Cui's lab at University of Tennessee Health Science Center (Memphis, Tennessee, USA). Our research interests include genetical and computational genomics of gene networks, phenotypic effect of genetic variations, functional elements in non-coding DNA sequence and evolutionary theory (Lab webpage: http://compbio.utmem.edu).

REQUIREMENTS

Ph.D. degree, research experience in computational biology/bioinformatics, and computer programming skills are required.

PREFERENCES

Preference will be given to applicants with experience in Bayesian network, complex trait mapping, DNA sequence analysis and/or time series microarray data analysis.
