Join the Global Headquarters of one of the World?s leading companies in HIV and Infectious Disease research, as;

Senior Scientist, Bioinformatics

This is a newly created position and leading a small, specialist team your principal role is to extract relevant knowledge from virological pharmacogenomics databases i.e. genotypic and phenotypic information and involving data preparation, data mining and advanced data visualization. You will also collaborate in complex data pipelining and visualisation projects using software packages such as Scitegic PipelinePilot, Spotfire DecisionSite and Business Objects etc.

REQUIREMENTS:
You will have a PhD with a substantial bioinformatics focus and a minimum of 5 years? postdoc experience ideally gained in an industrial environment. Your advanced computing skills will be complemented by experience of data mining and statistics and a background in Oracle, Spotfire and SAS systems would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will be both comfortable with and effective in a dynamic, rapidly evolving and innovative biotech environment.
