RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direction and supervision of the Manager of Clinical Lab and Biostatistics, responsible for the planning and analysis of R&D, clinical, and non-clinical study results and the reporting of data. Serves on assigned project teams. In collaboration with project team members, evaluates study designs, calculates sample sizes, writes statistical analysis plans for protocols, generates randomization schedules, reviews case report forms and data management plans. Performs statistical analyses, provides programming support in the preparation of reports and product regulatory submissions, writes/modifies SAS programs, validates results and programs (SAS or Minitab) used in the analysis of clinical safety and efficacy data.
Responsible for review and analysis of field complaint, production, and pre-production data to determine trends, and to advise engineering in the design of experimentation.
Assures acceptability and scientific integrity of data collection and analysis through appropriate application of statistical principles and methodology, and is able to argue logically in support of study results and conclusions.
REQUIREMENTS
Master?s degree in Biostatistics
3-5 years cumulative relative experience, preferably in the medical device industry; SAS programming experience.
High proficiency in SAS. Effective oral communication and writing skills. Effective intrapersonal skills in collaborating with individuals within teams. Technically oriented individual. Knowledgeable in general statistical theory and methods. Ability to handle multiple projects. Knowledge of other statistical software such as Minitab, and other software such as Microsoft EXCEL, and WORD.
MUST HAVE ACTUAL JOB EXPERIENCE.
NO RELOCATION AVAILABLE - LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED.
