    Opportunity: Scientist/Project Development/Grant Writer--Chennai, India

    GeneMines, Chennai, is looking for a highly motivated and experienced scientist, with strong experience in R&D Project Development, Management and Grant Proposal Development to join our ongoing research team.

    REQUIREMENTS

    The successful candidate would have the following qualifications:
    • Ph.D. or equivalent in biochemistry/molecular biology/bioinformatics/biological sciences
    • 2+ years of post-doctoral experience in one of the following areas: Genomics, Proteomics, Gene expression & regulation, Disease gene research, Metabolic/ Signal transduction pathways
    • Well-versed with bioinformatics tools and databases.
    • Highly experienced in writing scientific proposals and effective presentation skills.
    • Proven experience in grant writing/scientific publications
    • Excellent leadership qualities with ability to lead R&D team.
    • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
