    BACKGROUND

    The Computational Systems Biology Lab at Brandeis University invites applicants for one Postdoctoral Research Fellow position starting Spring 2006.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to develop novel mathematical modeling tools for inferring large-scale causal relationships among genes/proteins and modeling dynamics of biological networks from heterogeneous biological data, such as microarray, mass spectrometry, cellular images, DNA sequences, protein-protein interaction, chromosomal localization, literature, and so on.

    REQUIREMENTS

    A PhD in Bioinformatics or a related field, including computer science, statistics, molecular cellular biology, or quantitative genetics, along with proficient computer programming skills and demonstrated accomplishment in the area of bioinformatics or genomics is required.

    TERMS

    Position has guaranteed funding for three years
