    Research Trends in Computational Biology

    The main aim of this symposium is to bring together researchers from industry and academia to discuss the current trends of research in computational biology.

    SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME

    The technical sessions will feature invited talks by distinguished scientists from well-established research institutes and industry professionals. The talks will mainly address the research trends in the areas of sequence analysis, comparative genomics, molecular modeling, systems biology and pharmaceutical applications.

    PARTICIPANTS

    The symposium is targeted at researchers from academic institutes, universities, bioinformatics industries and policy makers from government organisations.

    REGISTRATION FEES

    1,000/- Academic institutes/Govt. organisations
    2,000/- Industry

    The registration fee includes symposium kit, tea/snacks, lunch on both days and dinner on the first day. The registration fee does not include accommodation charges. Accommodations will be made available to a limited number of participants on request, at an additional charge.

    REGISTRATION DEADLINE

    All applications in the prescribed registration form along with the applicable registration fees in the form of a demand draft should reach the address mentioned in the form not later than November 1, 2005 (this date may be extended up to 7th November, 2005 depending on the number of participants). Registration for the symposium is limited to a maximum of 30 participants, on a first come, first serve basis.
