    The Advanced Genome Information Technology Research Group is starting to distribute an ISO image for Knoppix with InterProScan4.1 High Throughput Computing Edition.

    InterProScan4.1, which is made by the European Bioinformatics Institute (EBI), is an integrated bioinformatics application with a database and scan methods for searching functional protein domains. We designed and re-mastered a Knoppix version for InterProScan using by several middleware tools: PVFS2, Condor, and Ganglia respectively. This Knoppix version allows biology researchers who are not HPC specialists to build a cluster system easily.
