    BACKGROUND

    The GEMINI project(http://xena1.ddns.comp.nus.edu.sg/microarray/project.htm) is a cross faculty project between the School of Computing and the Faculty of Medicine at the National University of Singapore(NUS). This project involves:

    1. Development of advance data mining techniques for analyzing high throughput gene expression datasets.

    2. Designing of microarray experiments to be performed on tissue samples from the NUS/NUH Tissues Repository so as to facilitate the construction of pathways that are involved in the development of cancer tissues.

    3. Building of a system that make use of the techniques developed in (1) to support (2).

    The project currently have various positions including 2x Postdoc Fellows, 2x Research Assistants and multiple Phd. Scholarships available. Details of these positions are at

    S$30K-S$70
