BACKGROUND:
Postdoctoral positions in computational biology/bioinformatics are available at HHMI Center for Single Molecule Biophysics, Department of Physiology and Biophysics of SUNY Buffalo to conduct theoretical and computational research in biophysics.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creative research in the area of bioinformatic and theoretical study of proteins and protein-ligand, and protein-DNA interactions. Please visit http://theory.med.buffalo.edu for details.
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualified candidates should have a PhD in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, or a related field. Experience with theoretical/computational biophysics, statistical mechanics, and/or computer simulations is a plus but not necessary. However, strong mathematical and programming skills are essential.
PREFERENCES:
Only STRONGLY motivated, creative, and hard-working individual who wants to be successful should apply.
