    BACKGROUND:
    A number of Postdoctoral positions and a developer position are available at the Biotechnology Centre of Oslo, University of Oslo. We are seeking researchers with a background in computer science, biology, chemistry, physics or mathematics. More details are available at http://www.biotek.uio.no/jobs/positions.html

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Positions include research in the fields of Pathway Modelling, Proteomics and Text-mining

    REQUIREMENTS:
    Strong mathematical and programming skills.

    One exception is the pathway curation position which requires a demonstrated interest in pathway modelling, clear communication skills and excellent analytic skills.

    PREFERENCES:
    Experience with one or more of cell-signalling, protein-protein interaction analysis, machine learning, text-mining methods, bioinformatics resources and tools, cluster computing, theoretical/computational biophysics, brownian dynamics, pathway model curation, SBML, CellML, or use of pathway modelling software.

    TERMS:
    The positions are funded for a maximum of 3 years (5 years for the developer position).

    LOCALE:
    Oslo, Norway

    COMPENSATION:
    Pay grade 48-56 (340,500 - 392,100 NOK; approx 50,000 58,000 USD) depending on the position and qualifications.
